A Skylark that got rear-ended. I worked the right rear quarter with hammers and dollies but the left was too damaged so another had to be welded on. Black, again and not only that but it had fine, multicolored metallic powder so it had to be done with basecoat – clearcoat and the clear had to be blended into the roof because I wasn’t about to paint the whole car. My customer didn’t tell me ahead of time but come to find out, this was inspected by Allstate Insurance. Evidently, they said I did a good job. I actually have a Certificate of Competency from the State of Florida for Auto Body Repair.
